Good product, good value

While not without a few challenges to navigate the app, having been a long time customer, I know pretty much what I need to do. The various worksheets help me understand the ins and outs of the tax code, so it helps me learn and plan.

These comments were already given in an earlier review option. However, I will restate them, in hope that the reason for my dissatisfaction will be addressed. Your tax expert, Crystal, is absolutely awesome, and deserves a raise. She was patient, kind, polite, and determined to find a resolution to my problem. / Having used TurboTax for a number of years, I've found at least one section every year that was difficult to understand, including the detailed explanations provided. In many cases, the explanation used accounting jargon that was difficult for a non-accountant to comprehend. This year was exceptionally frustrating. Your opening screen to enter investment income was the most confusing, poorly-designed, time-consuming, worthless piece of programing I've encountered in any software, ever. There was no indication as to which account was opened by which button, so I spent a significant amount of time going back-and-forth between the opening screen and the data-entry sections. This was especially frustrating when I found it necessary to stop working, shut-down the computer, then trying to find that spot when I returned. My son gave up on TurboTax after several years, due to similar frustrations. I continued to use it, since I was familiar with it. I will try TurboTax next year, but if I have the same frustrations, it will be my last purchase of TurboTax.

I've used TurboTax since 1999 and it has always done a great job pulling my taxes together. Tow issues I had this year were for some reason it did not keep me updated and resulted in a filing problem that wasn't that easy to resolve. The second unresolved problem is it insisted on a Federal ID number for a foreign stock, Takeda Pharmaceutical Company in Japan.
There wer also some questions it asked twice for some reason.

I was fine until I tried to e-file. Turbo Tax claimed I had two errors, which couldn't be fixed (the entries were zeros) so I had to print the whole thing out and file by mail. Very annoying!!1
