Getting exoensive,

getting expensive, contents/process not easy to follow such as the rentals not obvious to decuct expenses. Domt like not having the "disk" and lengthy time to reach downloading software.

Turbo tax is good but not perfect

I have been using Turbotax since 2009. Each year I have the same problems. You don't know that I have purchased the program for the newest year. I have to start all over again. Likewise, I purchase the expert help, but you don't know that either. I have to repay and then begin help with the expert. At the end of filing you tell me I did not purchase the expert help, when in fact I did. The left hand never seems to know what the right hand is doing. Other than that, your service is excellent.

TurboTax 2024 Premier - Desktop -- Disappoints.

I have used turboTax for several years to file my federal and state taxes with only a few issues. This year 2024, my experience was very different. I encounter issues from installation til filing. All adding extra and unneeded stress. I was unsuccessful in installing TurboTax 2024 Premier - Desktop on my Windows 11 computer and eventually switched to my old Windows 10 computer. All worked well until I went to file my taxes yesterday. The TurboTax required updated failed to install on the Windows 10 device. I attempted several fixes and workarounds. As a last resort, I tried a clean install on the Windows 11 computer with low expectations. Surprisingly, TurboTax 2024 Premier - Desktop installed, I was able to file my taxes. I spent over two-hours trying to get your software to function as expected.
Very disappointed in the quality of this years product. I will need to evaluate my options next year. My guess to much R&D spent on the online software with little consideration for the traditional products. I wonder how a customer with little computer knowledge used this software.

Entering 1099's this year is CUMBERSOME.

I do not like the change in screens for entering 1099's. It is very cumbersome and difficult to double check input since all the 1099's are all combined on the same long screen.
There should be a way to 'turn off' the Import function on the 1099's screens. Every time I navigated to type in the values, I had 4 or 5 extra steps to tell TurboTax that I did NOT want to import.
