Excellent For Federal, Fair For PA State

Federal portion was very good. PA state portion was not as robust as the federal. I make quarterly PA payments and the software did not prompt me to enter them. When I finally figured out how to do this I see the instructions said that making quarterly PA payments is unusual. This is not true for retired taxpayers who receive interest and dividends. At any rate it was not as easy as it could have been.

Did not address 1099-R blank box 16 issue

I have used TurboTax desktop version for several years. I would have given you a 5/5 rating but did not because nothing was done to update the 1099-R blank box 16 issue. I installed updates every other day to address this issue. I should NOT have been required to enter an amount for box 16 when the actual form provided is blank.

M-Chip Version Very Buggy

1. I had numerous crashes with MAC M-chip version
2. Couldn't import last year's return in PDF, not as claimed.
3. Buttons such as Tax Summary etc on the top are grayed and can't be used.
4. Review imported 1099-B transactions presents a list that is cut off so that Edit button is hidden.

Too expensive

Far to expensive!!!! Wish it would work with other programs. Wish I could still get a cd reasonable priced!
