Excellent TurboTax Premier

I've been using TurboTax for 28 years now. I trust it to be accurate and to know exactly which forms that I need to complete. I have rental properties, stocks, bonds, IRA distributions, capital gains and losses. TurboTax Premier fits my needs very well. The best feature that I like is that transfers data from the previous year tax forms to the current year...this includes any carry over amounts from previous years' disallowed losses.

Non-resident aliens income-tax, schedule K-1

Non-resident aliens' US-source interest and dividends are generally subject to a flat 30% tax rate (or lower treaty rate), usually withheld at the source, but TurboTax does not program these in the software.
THE schedule K-1 handle poorly, should look into it and program it accurate.

TurboTax makes my life much easier this time of year. One feature that's missing is the ability to pull in data from last year's return when required. It accesses last year
s return, yet I still have to enter things like my AGI from last years form for certain situations like trying to avoid an underpayment penalty to California because my AGI jumped significantly this tax year. In one case, California requests a quarterly AGI for their calculations. TurboTax should do this for you.
