unable to transmit efile

I received message unable to transmit try again later. The issue I had was when I went to turbo tax, it was suggested that I change my browser from google to firfox. However, the next day I was able to transmit my files without making any changes

Desktop version has worst UX

I am a fan of online version, however, I was forced to use desktop version because Schedule 3 Line 11 needed to be entered which was not possible through online version.
Regarding Desktop version of TurboTax (Mac) - Very disappointing user experience as compared to the online version. When e-filing, there is no way to tell what all forms it is submitting to IRS because when previewed just before e-filing, it shows even the worksheets that are "keep for your records". This does not tell what really is going to IRS. I had to spend significant amount of time across multiple calls to their specialists to confirm what was going to be submitted to IRS. Even they had research with their managers but there was no satisfactory answer. Even after filing, there was no way to download the version of forms that were transmitted to IRS.
Additionally, the option to upload investment documents from computer is missing so had to manually fill them. Overall, no UX effort seems to have gone in making the desktop version.

Accidentally typed wrong ssn and got return rejected. And the fix is very quick with TurboTax's help and resent.

I spoke with Barbara ref#1549500096 in reference to an issue I had with a form. I have been using Turbo Tax for twenty years and this was the first time I needed assistance. Barbara listened to my issue, which took some time to explain since it is a less common situation. She walked me through the forms and discovered my mistake. She was a pleasure to deal with in an age of incompetence of most customer service reps.

Fast, Simple returns

Turbo Tax Desktop allows more privacy and security. All work is done offline. eFile is available. Doing my taxes year after year on this software makes it easier each time. It took one day to get everything done. I will continue to use Turbo Tax.

Turbo tax takes a step backwards

when using the help feature, was not able to contact an individual. when using the online help function the system was unable to identify my question regarding inputting int and dividends. They changed the format for entering int and dividends making it very difficult to complete until you played with the entering format. Wasted a lot of time. every time you go back to a section you have to start from the beginning another waste of time and annoying.
Pros: My employment status changed this year
