hard to use if you have multiple investment accoun

TurboTax should include the account number (and/or a nickname) for each of the 1099-??? in the Income section. when you get multiple 1099s from the same investment company, you get multiple entries in the table for Investment Income that is labeled by just the investment company's name and so very difficult to drill down into a specific account to tweak the entries. If you are on a sub-panel and want to look at one of the Forms to cross check some numbers, you can bring up the Forms with entries (a very good thing) but after you close all the Forms, you get dropped back to some panel that is "above" the one you are working on. This forces you to go navigate back to what you were working on. Should have a "return from Forms" button next to the "Close Form" button to bring you back to the panel you were on right before going to "Forms" on the menu bar.

Turbotax is great!

I got my taxes done pretty easily, and I'm getting a refund (yay!). I did have to call and speak with someone about my K-1, but Crystal was amazing... my federal return went up, my state taxes went down. I do wish there was a way to add more info for K-1's, but I also understand they can be very different, so I can see how that would be hard. The info from the IRS was useless.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I am Canadian commuter working for US company. My US company pays part of my income tax to Canada. TurboTax does not provide an option to claim foreign tax credit for income earned in US.

Keeps getting worse year after year
on April 2, 2025

Product has become more difficult to use year after year. Getting to the form needed was difficult and kept having to go through the interview and re-answer questions that had become unchecked reduced my confidence in the product. I had a hard time entering income from an estate - the help was of no use. I had do google it. Also trying to do the estimate for the next year was 1) hard to find the area, 2) provided no way to review a P&L to verify all the inputs, and 3) was not intuitive. I just did it in Excel. Not sure why I keep paying extra for the Premier version.
Pros: I bought or sold investments
