Used TurboTax for 22 years.

I have used TurboTax for the last 22 years. It has made the task of figuring out and filling my taxes much easier even as my tax situation has changed over the years. In my estimation it is a good investment. That doesn't mean there isn't some improvement that could be made.

Bank connection needs some work.

I was unable to print the Bank agreement for taking my filing costs out of my refund. It also locked up the popup menus. Then I minimized the turbo tax screen and was unable to restore it. I had to relaunch finder then select the turbotax menu. I have a iMac 2023 that is fully updated. Everything else worked well.

Ttax graphics get fancier, data entry gets harder

Ttax tries to push services and on-line downloads to the point of being annoying. In the middle of Federal Taxes, the section on entering interest and dividends was changed: in previous years I had a nice, simple list of sources for interest and dividends that was copied from my previous year, and could work through them in a straight-forward way to enter my data manually. Now the section is too fancy with a constant push for me to download data instead of me entering it. Too fancy, less useful.
