Desktop product is good but troublesome

I like TurboTax Desktop but this year was troublesome in two areas. I found the new import process for dividend, interest and stocks to be cumbersome. Especially when you then had to input it or go back to edit it. It would be better if it was sorted by type.
And the RMD calculations has problems. I have two accounts, but the RMD was taken from one. The calculations generated a shortage of $1 due to inconsistent roundup of entries and total amounts. So it generates form 5329 with zero due since it rounds down on the fine.

Very Good but tax smart worksheet drilldown missin

Turbo tax is good. But in the forms section, the tax from smart work sheet for capital gains and deductions it did not take me to the form but I have to select the form manually.. The drill down should be added to show the form how the tax was calculated.

Turbo Tax is the best!

Another positive experience with Turbo Tax. Step by step instructions are helpful and easy to follow. Also help screens are "helpful" providing context and additional useable information. Appreciate the reviews for accuracy and audit risk. E-file is great! Just wish I could file state return without paying additional $15 - $25. Overall, Turbo Tax is perfect tool for self-preparers. Thanks!

Turbo Tax can be frustrating to use

Three major points of frustration...
1-Some of the questions asked for entering information from a K-1 (Form 1065) are unclear and require further explanation. Abbreviations should not be used.
2- When finally completing preparation and ready to e-file, validation failed because an update to TurboTax24 was required. No explanation was given as to what the update covered or the risk taken if the return was sent in by mail - which was an option offered. During preparation, necessary updates should be done automatically.
3- My return was rejected by the IRS for two incorrect Payer's TIN. I received an email from TurboTax stating "We’ll walk you through each step of updating and resubmitting your return". Upon opening my return I found no further help offered in what to do after correcting the Payer's TIN. I had to call the help line for assistance. This needs to be corrected. Further information should be made available on steps needed after the IRS rejects a return.
