Nice but there is room for improvement

Nice experience easy to use except for user interface for entering dividends, interest, etc. Upon selecting drop down arrow to view, software scrolls all the way to the top. For example, after going to the form selected and entering "Delete (trash can)", it grays out the screen and requires user to scroll all the way up to confirm delete. Very confusing interface and very time consuming.

A Vital Tool that is Easy to Use

Overall I find the desktop application good, but the estimated tax section is confusing. I know I will be taking out IRA distributions in the future, but it is not clear how to handle the data input based on the interview at that point in the application.

Std to Roth IRA Conversions Now Covered; IP PIN...

Finally enough instructions to do a standard to Roth IRA conversion properly!
Somehow, though, even going through the directions step by step I had my return rejected because no IP PIN was input. That's because it wasn't asked for by the programming.
So I used the help function to figure out more or less what to do to enter it, got to the right place, entered it, and then had my return accepted.
Maybe one more header is needed to cover details specifically related to submitting the return successfully.

Some bugs in the software...if one scrolls back for a few pages while in the step-by-step procedure, the program sometimes gets into a loop. In order to get out of that loop, one has to leave the step-by-step and force a manual advance to the next desired topic.
Why scroll backward? I made an error or two and was revisiting the topic. That seems to sometimes screw up the program.

Failure to import 1099-B from E*trade

I purchased TurboTax because it used to be able to automatically import 1099-B forms from various investment brokers. However, they have completely failed on importing 1099-B form form E*trade, leaving me to manually click through TurboTax's slow interface update each individual trades. 0/10 terrible experience, would've been faster to just file and mail tax return myself.
