I file my Federal tax return and mail my State return (to save $25 that I don'y need to spend). Turbo Tax use to be easy to manage different filing methods until now. I have to go back to the beginning of the filing process to switch between the two and run it again. Not user friendly.
Retired, our taxable income varies enough to make using the Annualized Estimated Tax worksheet beneficial, except that Turbo Tax does not support it and you have to do it manually. As complicated as our tax system is, this feature is easy to add. Turbo Tax should add this feature to support retirees and working people whose income fluctuates throughout the year and have to pay estimated quarterly tax payments.

TT needs help

This new form is the worst of all the TT forms that i have filled out over the past decade plus. Repetitive entry and a less convenient way to enter data especially interest, dividend, and capital gain.

Turbo Tax misses for Seniors.

Too easy to miss a key deduction. Roll over is too easily reported as an IRA contribution in TurboTax software. This generates double taxation.

State Return Issues

The state tax return for Wisconsin is not correct. Thus, I had to complete the return using the state sponsored program. This continues to be a problem for Wisconsin returns.
