The section for foreign tax paid / foreign tax credit was difficult and time consuming to complete this year.

Why do I have to sign into my Intuit account to process my state tax. Didn't do it last year. Why didn't software ask me for IP PIN. I feel I will be rejected

We've been using TurboTax to complete and file our state and federal returns for many years. The step-by-step instructions make it very easy for us. Also, we feel confident that there are no math errors that happen when doing taxes by hand. Last but not least, the cost of the product and the e-filing fees are very affordable.

TurboTax works ok but has lots of annoyances

1. The "tax due" seems to change at random, for example an IRA conversion makes it look like you owe a bunch of money until much later, when you tell TurboTax (for the second time) that I made non-deductible contributions and suddenly the amount changes back. It also somehow changed when I started to import a 1099-R and then went back without importing anything.
2. The foreign tax credit form had an error because it was missing an amount that the step by step flow never asked me for.
3. Can't import 1099-Rs from Fidelity, one of the biggest 401k providers.

tURBOTAX Digital difficult with Multiple Computers

Difficulty with Microsoft NET Updates on Windows 10 & Windows 11. Unable to complete on Windows 10 so used a Windows 11 machine, installed a Digital Copy to it, then completed the return.
