1099-MISC question should answer No

When I entered my 1099-MISC from an investment, TurboTax asked the question "Was this an intent to make money?" I answered "Yes", of course I wanted to make money on my investments. TurboTax then tried to enter this as a business income and asked me questions to fill in Schedule C. It took me a long time and research to find out I needed to answer "No". TurboTax then placed this under other income. TurboTax should revise this question for 1099-MISC inputs.

Turbo Tax Its Deductible Problem

Upset that It's Deductible is not working in the online version of Turbo Tax. It takes too long to enter any deductions individually. That part needs to be updated in next year's version. Also I would like for Turbo Tax be on a CD again.

One suggestion - Form 8453

I don't understand why turbotax only supplies the form to attach any forms to when needing to send in forms. Kinda' dumb. Why not include the whole set of forms needing to be attached to the 8453 instead of just for 8453?

Tax process worked as expected. I get tired of all of the different pay portals. I just want to know what my cost is up front. If I have 2 states, I have to pay for an extra one. Then an hour later I have to pay to transmit. So now I have paid 3 different times, one for the initial purchase one for the extra state and one for the e-file. I want it all as one number rather than having to re-entire all of my info multiple times.

It's a Great Help for Taxes. Rather than spending Hundreds of dollars to find out I owe Thousands of dollars I pay less than 100 for Turbo Tax....
