Confusing 1099 entries

First year using TurboTax Premier. Very confusing entering 1099 forms. I get a single statement from my brokerage account with 1099-int, 1099-Div and 1099-B. They are entered in three different categories, not 1 entry per form. Also, very difficult to find where to enter my IP PIN.

make changes harder even for an accountant

gets worse every year. interest, dividends, gains and losses all show up together..
tried to change some missing individual stock sales by deleting a few and putting them all in one summary. result was that page 2 of items to review no longer had anything in it. had to delete entire download because of this , re download and do it all again. thanks for really making me take longer to fix stuff once again. And I have an accounting degree.

I HAVE USED TURBOTAX SINCE IT STARTED. IT HAS BEEN VERY GOOD OVERALL BUT LATELY EACH YEAR I HAVE DIFFICULTY GETTING DOWNLOADS. BOTH FROM INTUIT SITE AND OUTSIDE FINANCIAL/W2 WEBSITES. FRUSTRATING AND TIME CONSUMING

Extremely painful experience

I've been using TT for the last 8 years and this has been the most painful experience I've had with the software. Why was I forced too spend hours and hours trying to figure out what was the CA Capital Loss Carryover amount I needed to enter when the software could have done it form me using my previous years returns (which I'm emphasizing again, I DID USING TURBOTAX)

Good solution to preparing my Income Taxes.

In general Turbo Tax is very good. I did find the Foreign Tax section requiring Form 1116 very cumbersome and required assistance from one of the experts. In the end the expert was able to help and the issue was resolved. So they have good support when issue come up.
Pros: My employment status changed this year

Good software, but still could be improved

More background info would be useful, especially in state filing section. I am a usual turbotax customer, because using an accountant can get to be expensive. As usual, I never feel confident about the amount I owe. Much of this can be attributed to the unnecessarily complicated federal tax code. However, I still feel like turbotax can better explain some conditions.
