I have been using TurboTax since...well, since the product came out! The prompts are intelligent and using the step-by-step makes completing the return a breeze. It's actually more time-consuming to accumulate all the data, but once you have, the program is a snap.

It was a little confusing downloading the investment info. There were too many individual boxes to review with zeros in them. The 2023 process was easier and less confusing.

It's OK

Software is OK. There are glitches that could make a novice skip steps. Especially entering rental property information. I've been using it for years, so I notice when it skips a step or few. Not sure why, it's on them to figure it out.
I am concerned that they want to charge extra for storing your own data on your own computer next year. May be looking for alternatives.

Software is easy to use; we've used it for each of the last 8+ years. Note: It does NOT provide you with a list of required documents to be mailed with a PA state e-filed return... you need to keep track of that yourself... would be nice if the program was enhanced to provide a printable page of ANY required mailed docs for either Fed or State.
