Turbo Tax is exceptional but can be even better!!

Compared to last year, this year experience is positive. In particular, importing tax forms from banks and investment accounts does not fill all tax filing requirements. TT kept it as review instead of showing them at the time of error checks. I still see there is room to improve. For example, during federal and state error checks in final stage, it showed me 15 errors to correct that should have been fixed during entry time or review after import stage. Please fix them in next year.

Turbo Tax over time

I've used Turbo Tax since circ 2009 & always had a good experience. Last year I purchased an online version & had to get help with it as it did not work & the Turbo representative could not figure out why, so she reimbursed the cost. I wound up purchasing a Turbo Tax disk that worked well. This year's Turbo Tax was a nightmare to use. I answered the same questions multiple times.

Im so thrilled to use the 2024 TurboTax Software. Had no problems at all except for a few simple questions for the Agent. She answered my questions and completed the forms to file. Adios, see you next year!

Used Tax Turbo for years. Always loved it, but this year I found it a little sloppy. Maybe it is because I'm old, but the flow didn't always feel smooth. One place with no "Back" button. You guys can do bettrt.

Error Review Suggestion

I wanted to check for errors after I'd completed my federal return and before I started on my AZ state return since the Fed feeds into the state. Maybe I did something wrong, but TurboTax would not allow me to run the error check until I'd completed the state return. Also, when I was part way through the state return, I went back to the federal return to check on something and when I returned to my state return, it made me start again from the first screen. As I have CFS and other health issue that limit the amount of time I can work in one sitting, starting on my state return again and again really slowed down my progress. However, these were minor problems overall. This is a great product but I have not compared it with its competitors.

Turbo tax has issues this year!

Turbo Tax SW continually blocked me from what i needed to do. i tried to add a state for taxes, and it got stuck and would not let me progress. it took 3 different tech support people to figure it out, only to have the last one charge me $160 for what should have been a $45 state adder. Then, when I tried to pay for my state filing with CC, it gave me the same 'hmmm...we have a problem' message and would not take it, forcing me to pay $40 for Turbo Tax to 'manage' my extra $25 fee.

Reading last year's return does not work

Disappointed. I've been a user of TurboTax for more than 20 years. Last year I had to prepare an amended tax return. When using 2025 Premium this year it supposedly opened the file return but was not able to actually read any of the amounts and I had to type everything from scratch. Furthermore, was not able to make comparisons of amount with previous year. IT is clearly a bug in the software. Several other users experienced the same problem. I am seriously thinking of another software for next year.
