turbo tax has become less user friendly over time

Difficulty loading and using program.
Tech support was poor at best, difficult to understand broken English.
Supervisor feed me false information after 2.5 hours in e-filing issues.

Too much power

While I have had mostly good experiences with Turbotax, I noticed your company began going along with the Federal government's position of allowing corporations 20 year patents on less than 20% change in a software. Like going from Windows XP to Windows 7. Why would you aid Microsoft when their valuation if 3 Trillion ? Where is your Linux version of Turbotax ? Do you get a kickback also ?

Turbo Tax does OK by me, but........

Generally does a good job, but is problematic when calculating nondeductible mortgage interest when multiple mortgages exceed the $750,000 limit. It's especially unhelpful for interest paid w/o a 1098 - some of the choices are unclear or not complete and checking a box that seems "close" to the truth can cause wild swings in taxes owed with no explanation. My second mortgage is on an RV, and the instructions even note that this is not unusual (no 1098) but you can still claim it. Unfortunately, the choices you can check don't adequately offer the right option for this - you have to guess.
