TurboTax is great

The tax software itself deserves a five-star rating. However, my only complaint is that I have to check for updates every time I open a return, which takes 25 minutes to half an hour. I used to have the option to skip updates, but that is no longer available.

Great product

TurboTax is fantastic. I have some brokerage account transactions that require a lot of tedious and error-prone (for me by hand) data transfer. TurboTax takes care of that for me flawlessly. The ability to link to my brokerage account and transfer data, select the correct forms, fill it all in - that is HUGE! Thank-you very much. And e-filing is huge - an awesome convenience. I am sure the IRS appreciates it too. The paymenrt options are great too. Why did I have to click to reveal more payment options for the state payment options? I am in Idaho. Did not like that.

Consistently use due to ease of use of transferring information from previous years. Would like to go online but concerned about differences between desktop versions and on-line.

Turbo Tax is a rip off

Way to costly this year. Also, with Primier should get multiple state taxes. Hate the foreign tax section, and the fact you have to submit state taxes before you get the voucher for payment is horrible.

Pretty good but have no idea why it didn't generate city of detroit return on one of the files, yet did for the rest. I even upgraded from initial basic purchase to premium.hmmmmm

Turbo Tax 24

I found the interest/dividends section a bit awkward. When I would click on a particular item to work on, it would take me back to the very top of the section and I'd have to start over again. Also, I would appreciate having a search option to find a particular topic. Otherwise, the program works well.
