4 stars for federal filing. It took me over an hour to figure out where to click to get a $16 Foreign Tax Credit deduction. 3.5 stars for CT filing. It was challenging. It took me a while to figure out how to get Government interest income deduction in.

Updating process is slow and cumbersome. Could carryover Dl number, routing info. $ refund processing fee in done under duress. eg after everything has been done and entered, then you get the silly fee.

This year's turbo tax - not as good as usual.

I think this year's software was quirky. Biggest example: I had repeat entries for interest bearing account that needed to be deleted. When I hit the trash bim icon, it repeatedly did not delete the account.

Turbo Tax certainly makes it easier to file your taxes. I've been using it for years. The problems I have come across is not knowing exactly some of the answers like dates, etc., after an extensive download from a place that I have taking care of my stocks. The other issue is calculating depletion for a state return. Turbo Tax doesn't do it, even using the Premier version. Those issues are small compared to the time saved and knowledge using Turbo Tax. I do recommend using it.

TurboTax still the best!

I have been using TurboTax since it first came out and have always found it to be an excellent product. Those few times when I have had an issue or a special handling situation, the TurboTax team has always been responsive and helpful.
