Idaho state tax interview could be a lot better!

The state tax for Idaho could be handled better. I tend to move forward and backward a lot through the interview. The Idaho tax interview is set up in a linear fashion and you have to go through each step to get to the next. If it were set up more like the federal interview that showed the individual tax areas for income and deductions it would help moving around in the interview immensely. Very often when I am filling out a section it reminds me of something that I forgot about in an earlier section.

Turbo tax not llowing overrides in e-filing

Many of the forms are incomplete with fields that you cannot fill. You must override them and even though you are dilligent in keeping forms in balance ( eg with the 1040 or schedule ) you cannot e-file because turbo tax refuses to e-file calling these erors. Example form 8960 and it's worksheet. Schedule E will not allow additional entries as an override. It seems this product only works for the basic tax return and has not been fully tested.

Should be easier since my tax situation is stable

I've been using it for years. My situation is relatively uncomplicated. My situation hasn't changed much in many years. I know the tax laws fairly well. THEREFORE my tax return work should be easy. TurboTax should remember everything from last year and use that as a starting point. Also, if I neglect something, I should be able to go to the spot where I need to go - without going through a dozen other pages. MY COMPLAINT is that TurboTax has gotten more complicated. This is probably the result of ridiculously complicated tax laws, but I'm still unhappy.
