Great product need to fix flaws/incomplete q's

Have been using TT for ~25 years. In the premier edition there are incomplete questions that come up on return review that forces you to a form to complete with no explanation as to why. This creates a great deal of work 1) to research why and 2) to calculate.

Turbo Tax makes filing easy. It's still tedious, but I find it well worth the annual spend to simplify the process.

The heart of darkness

Some of the worst software I have ever used. Using it is like traveling in a dark tunnel without a light, you enter and hope you will at sometime emerge with a filed return. The UI seems to be designed to waste your time, and make sure you have to repeat tasks and clicks the same questions over and over when you are trying to do simple edits over and over again. Electronic files worked about half the time. I their defense, I assume the IRS code contributes to some of this chaos
