A great product

I have been a TurboTax user for many years and have always been very satisfied with it. I find it to be very comprehensive and user-friendly. I should add, that I much prefer the desktop version to the on-line version. I find the desktop version more readily available and easier to use.

TurboTax answered a question on a very difficult return. Sometimes you have to ask more than once and it would be nice to get a person back if you asked to talk to them again.

This ver. rejects using credit card for State File

Keep rejecting my $25 credit card payment for State of CA efile, even before the software verified which credit card I'll be using. Unlike 2023 Turbobax, there is no provision within 2024 Turbotax to allow me to input or change my credit card information. Where is this software getting my credit card number from and then decline me card?? Website reported numerous complaints by many users in past years too.

Not As Good As Prior Years

I've used Turbo Tax for years and never been as frustrated as this year. If you have a very simple return it is probably ok. It posted imported brokerage information more than once and can't handle K-1 forms. Took me printing out the return and reading the forms to find a spot where I had to overwrite what Turbo Tax had posted for the 2nd time.

Turbo Tax is a mess

Turbo Tax has changed so much this year that as a long time user of TT I have found it very difficult, time consuming and frustrating to move around in a return that has anything more complex than a basic tax return. I enter items and then cannot locate them quickly again. I am considering moving to a different vendor for 2025.
