Turbo Tax is my Go-to Tax preparer

To date, Turbo Tax has been my go-to for preparing my taxes. Generally it addresses most of my most complex issues and walks me through the process with ease. In some cases, I do need to do additional research, but TT usually has links to the necessary official IRS/State documents I need to reference or I can find the answers I need in the Help section or from the community. This year (2024) I did run into an issue entering my Oil and Mineral Royalty information. I have multiple small sources in multiple counties owned by different providers. The app kept insisting on only using one of the counties and one of the providers though each county was very different and each provider managed the product differently. I caused me no end of time and grief in trying to enter the data to ensure the numbers came out correctly. We aren't talking large numbers in my case, but I pity someone who might actually have huge numbers to enter. That portion of the app needs some review and reworking. Otherwise, it saved me a tremendous amount of time.

Turbo Tax is great past years but not 2025

I had problems trying to e-file my tax returns and had to spend time on the phone and numerous times trying to file and kept getting and error "we hit a snag" Well finally after talking to a rep at turbo tax he found a way to file my federal taxes but I could not e-file my state taxes due to the "snag" which was a glitch in the payment process. Was told to try again later to see if it worked well 9 days later it still did not work so now my state taxes need to be filed by snail mail and it says on my documents that I sent my state taxes online. I hope this does not create a problem with my state as it says "DO NOT FILE HARD COPY IF YOU E-FILED" my documents are printed showing i did
