I like using Turbotax

I have been using turbotax for many years. I find that it is very easy to use and makes my return accurate and complete. We have a basis in our IRAs and turbotax makes it easy to determine the taxable amount of our distributions. I can also track the conversions to our Roth IRAs and keep track of the 5 year rules and know how much is available without a penalty.

Good, but how to save pdf?

Turbo Tax Frustrations - prayers answered

I had problems trying to input a rollover on a distribution and incorrectly put it in my 1099-R. I thought I had forced an e-file, but in reality I had not. I broke down and paid for the Turbo Tax Experts for help. The representative I talked to was Safia. She was incredible. I was working on a Mac, so we had problems trying to figure out my mistakes. She referred me to Deborah, a Mac expert. Deborah called and walked me through the necessary corrections and were able to e-file my return. Safia and Deborah were great. I will highly recommend this service in the future.

What an awesome product. So easy to use and even if you make a mistake it compares it to the previous year so you know exactly where to fix it.

Printer problem

Generally good except: The TurboTax desktop version did not recognize our printer. I had to save tax docs to PDF in order to print them out.

TurboTax had some issues this year!!

Overall easy but several problems this years. First CT forms were not ready even though after calling twice it said they were ready. The rep had to use back door method to get it working on my Imac. Second the printer did not respond. Had to againuse back door to save on pdf then search the file and print separately. Very Dissappointed
