Inaccurately told me that I could reduce my taxes owed by contributing to an IRA. It showed me how much I could save by doing so. Once I contributed to the IRA, it then told me that my MAGI was too much and that I couldn't deduct it.

I have used Turbo Tax for years and had found it very easy to navigate. My returns are accurate. I will recommend it to anyone who wants to do their own taxes.

The foreign tax credit section is a mess. Very laborious to complete that section. I haven't received a K-1 for several years, but the software repeatedly hounded me to complete a K-1 form.

Navigating can be a bit challenging. State Tax software is very confusing with access to forms very challenging.

Another year!

For over 10 years I was always able to finish everything by myself. This year, during the review stage, we had to answer questions that we could not figure out the answers which led us to having to connect with an expert. Craig deserve 5 stars but that part of TT deserves a 4.

Downloaded information from broker. Information for RMD was downloaded incorrectly. This is the first year this has happened. It I had to enter everything myself, which was very tedious. I hope this is corrected before next year

You bought a fantastic product in the form of the Intuit initial product, that was easy to understand and enter data. Why you felt the need to almost change the entire format and make knowing what data to enter, I don't know. You got 2 stars because it is complete. One quick example of change needed, drop some of the unneeded pages that only ask for a "continue", but provide no other information: ex. for entry of stock sales, that flashes 'short or long, covered or uncovered' but doesn't respond to any other click but "continue". Oh, and that's a real pain to learn, why did you hide the continue button on the scroll down page, that was otherwise blank? Next year I might try the IRS site to file my taxes.
