Been using TurboTax for years.

Easy to use and follow. Downloading the app was straight forward. No issues using the TurboTax. I liked the format for entering dividends, and interest in last year's version better than this one. Some institutions have multiple incomes, and it was cumbersome to see if I had all of them because they were all together instead of under one heading..

Fix the foreign tax credit section to allow easy input of multiple countries

Turbo Tax seems to be getting easier each year

I was able to complete my Tax forms very easily despite a more complex 1099 report from Fidelity because I was using a Investment advisor starting in the 4th qtr of 2014.

TurboTax 2024 Premier is very bad

The 2024 version of TurboTax was very bad. I greatly dislike how they changed the capital gains review of stock sales. This version was also extremely slow to load pages. Just an awful experience using TurboTax this year. I will be looking into other tax programs next year.

Updates too late in Tax Filing

I have used Turbo tax for a long time now. I decided to use state to e-file. Unfortunately, their software was out of date until March 27th for filing state and it was rejected. How does this happen?!

TurboTax is clunky and opaque.

Very opaque. Difficult to link certain items on the completed tax return to the 1099s received and entered into the program. Also extremely hard to delete anything entered in error.
When using the guided response, it is easy to skip something because the program requires that all interest earned be entered before any dividends or any capital gains. But most brokerage firms list all three (and more) of these items on the same report. The program should allow me to enter everything from a particular brokerage firm and then everything from the next brokerage firm, etc.

Turbo tax is almost awesome
