I've used Turbo Tax for many years. It's a solid, easy to use, tax preparation tool. It has worked well for me and my wife for all the years we've used it (handled all our tax situations - home sale, donations, medical, early withdrawal from 401K, stock sale, ...).

Delays with e-file / joint occupancy issue

All went well until e-file attempts failed due to a joint occupancy issue - nothing to fix in return - just could not submit in a timely fashion. Transmit went fine but kept getting rejected even though nothing to fix.

I did taxes for several years with AARP as a volunteer, so I went through training for that. I've always done my taxes myself. TurboTax makes the process much easier.
