I found the formatting for data in the 2024 version more difficult and time consuming in use.

Not bad, It seemed easier this year and I appreciate that. I've used TurboTax since its infancy, so I know how much it's improved, As a retiree I have multiple investment accounts and some quirks that most people may not know about. But TT seems to have followed the IRS code well enough that I had no problems. Also did not need an assistant. But that could be because I have doing my own taxes for more than 50 years!

I used TurboTax for many years. It greatly helps to file taxes. 2024 and 2023 versions of TurboTax had some stability issues. Error 214 occurred and it required to uninstall and install again the software. I took 1 star because of stability issue.

Turbotax is a solid choice

I did have a bit more trouble with the Turbotax process this year compared to years past. There were a few points when the sequence of events didn't seem intuitive, in particular when I had to figure out how to enter sales of stocks and mutual funds.
But I figured it out finally and it remains a solid product.

Turbo Tax Premier 2024 Mac desktop is aweful

For my 26 years of using TurboTax, Premier 2024 Mac Desktop is the worst of all per quality, rebustness, user friendliness. It took me 3 times as much time than usual, install/remove/install, and numerous restart (TT freeze or file not able to open, and created multiple data files. There are so many bugs and malfunctions. This product has lived decades, quality like a newly launched. So disappointed.... Will considner switch to something else

Reliable & Accurate Turbo Tax

Turbo Tax is very clear and prompts me through the entire process of doing my tax forms. I always begin by having Turrbo Tax walk me through the process and then, at some point later, I opt for choosing what I want to work on to finish incomplete sections. I like that Turbo Tax imports information from last year's forms into this year's - That saves me time and effort, as well as eliminates typographical errors. I like that I can import documents like 1099s in order to make the process smoother and the input of information accurate. I have used Turbo Tax for many years to complete my tax filing. I have found it to be dependable and for the most part easy to understand. If I am unsure, I click on the help links to read the explanations. Sometimes I read the explanations several times to be sure that i understand the details. I file my federal and state forms electronically in order to get my refunds faster. I recommend Turbo Tax to my friends and family -- even to my financial advisor! Just purchase the Turbo Tax package that fits your financial situation. The Premier is best for me. Turbo Tax -- a dependable & true tool which saves me money.
