Next Year I'm Using a Different Program

Not as easy as in the past. I couldn't follow some of the answers and I didn't understand some of the questions, nor the explanations. I've used TurboTax for at least 20 years. This was the most challenging year. I'm going to try a different program next year and save myself the time and frustration.

2025 version of Turbo Tax is poorly designed

With this years product changes it was a real hasstle and much more time consuming to enter bank interest and brokerage info....cap gains, dividends and interest. Also more chance of error with the way this data is entered in the 2025 product. I had to do about 5 clicks and go through multiple screens just to enter bank interest!!! It was absolutely ridiculous the way bank info had to be entered. Only one of my banks was linked to your system. Also in prior yrs I could take my brokerage statements and enter data easily on a couple of screens. I hope you go back to the way this data was entered in prior versions. It seems like who ever redesigned some of the data entry in this years product did not know what they were doing......absolutely no common sense used to design this type of product from a users perspective. Friends I have spoken to who use this product are also very unhappy with this years version. Not to mention the "bug" in filing re W-4 worksheet (I had no earned income). At least your phone support had a work around for this technical issue.

Another Great Experience With Turbo Tax

Everything went smoothly with my tax return preparation. I only wish my financial institution, which handles my investments, would provide documents that easily transfer information to the tax forms.

I have used Turbo Tax for decades to do my taxes. Each year they progressively make the program easier and more intuitive. I am very satisfied with the software and service.
