Income section has become confusing

I did not like the changes to the income section. Using the import feature did not use the items there.

Difficult to use. Not always easy to make corrections or adjustments. Seems to lack the "polish" of prior years Desktop.

A good tool, BUT!

I've been using Turbo Tax Premier for years and it does the job. BUT, when turning to do more simple retirns, like my sons, it does not tell you he does not have to file! You need to go directly to the IRS tax screening tool to find out very specific requirements. Sometimes it is a question of splitting hairs on unearned income. Turbo Tax come up a little short in that respect. Otherwise a great tool and always educational as well!

Turbo Tax has changed, but not for the better.

I've used Turbo Tax Premier for many years, but this may be the last. They changed the look and feel of it and I really don't like it. I liked last year (and previous years) interface for entering and displaying the information. In particular, I really don't like the new way it shows the information entered for all the 1099-DIV, 1099-INT, and 1099-B. The previous table format was MUCH better. Change isn't always good. It took me much longer to file taxes this year than previous years. Very disappointed.

TurboTax just gets better and better. The features allow me to easily find and complete familiar sections of my return while having immediate access to detailed support for new situations. I opted for live tax expert support this year for the first time, and my experience was excellent. My expert was friendly and professional. She researched to find answers to my questions and provided me with just what I needed. The process was astonishingly efficient, convenient, and economical.

Way to go with taxes

Quick and efficient. If you pay with a bank account, the only way to go. Get yours done too.
