MUST HAVE SOME GLITCHES THIS YEAR

THERE SEEMS TO BE SOME GLITCTHE FULL AMOUNT AND ALSO THE FIRST CALCULATED AMOUNT SO NOW IVE PAID OVER 500 DOLLARS TO MUCH TO THE IRS THIS YEAR, HES THIS YEAR ,CHOSE TO HAVE TURBOTAX WALK ME THRU THE WHOLE PROCESS AND THEY SKIPPED A COUPLE SECTIONS THAT CAUSED MY RETURN TO BE REJECTED TWICE AND ACTUALLY INCREASED THE AMOUNT OWED ,I PAID WHEN I FIRST SUBMITTED MY RETURN THEN WHEN THEY REJECTED IT I ENDED UP OWEING AN ADDITIONAL 2800,SO I HAD TO PAY THE RECALCULATED AMOUNT BUT HAD ALREADY PAID THE FIRST AMOUNT SO NOW I HAVE OVERPAID THE IRS THIS YEAR OVER 500 DOLLARS .I KNOW THEY WILL EVENTUALLY SEND IT BACK BUT I THINK YOU SHOULD HOLD ANY PAYMENTS TO THE IRS UNTIL THEY HAVE ACCEPTED THE RETURN .IVE BEEN USEING TURBO TAX FOR SEVERAL YEARS AND THIS IS THE FIRST TIME THESE ISSUES HAVE COME UP

Multiple Years User of Turbo Tax

Overall I think the software is good, however, a few things that irk me. When I'm asked to enter the name of the state where I earned tax exempt interest/dividend, the software does not tell me the account number where that amount is listed eventhough I used Turbo Tax to import my 1099 forms from my broker, where I have multiple accounts. So I have to fish for that information in each of my accounts. In addition the software doesn't present to me the forms it downloaded so I can search them instead of having to download the forms again myself from my broker, in order to search them.

The changes from previous years increased the difficulty 10X. Going back and forth with payment processing
is terrible. The additional fee to e-file state - seems like you are trying to nickel and dime. Not happy.

So So - Always Issues

State Taxes are still terrible. Very little support with turbo tax. Errors when you back from sections and cannot delete forms.

gone downhill - they removed the ability to add up figures in fields with supporting details. Trying to track down origin of where figures came from is no longer as easy as it once was. Works on some forms, not on others. Product kept putting in form for business use despite not being qualified. Had accountant consult to take that back out.
