Turbo Tax is a wonderful tax prep tool!!!!

The ONLY issue I had as a first time preparer with stocks/dividends, etc. to report the stock reporting directions was like reading Russian. I was so confused. But I kept plugging.

One hiccup

There was apparently a programming (?) problem. Turbotax said we are not qualified for foreign tax credit (!) but we knew we are clearly qualified. We decided to work manually on Form 1116 and found out that the foreign taxes paid were already accounted for. We gave five stars because we ended up filing successfully and could reach to Turbotax for help.

I love TurboTax!

I've used TurboTax from the very beginning - it's always been good and improving every year.
My only issue is that the trust version doesnt have a download capability -- but I expect that will be taken care of sooner or later.

Problem with the stop in the middle of the work. Very poor execution of K-1 Schedule.

TurboTax remains totally grand!

Been using TT for over a decade – thorough and apparently complete. Always e-filed and always accepted by IRS. Granted I've a rather simple tax situation but still: well done!
Did sell some employee issued stock this time around. At first TT required I send in form 8453 with details of stock sale not reported to IRS, but thankfully with the latest update TT was able to incorporate the necessary information into my e-file. I will check with the competitors for 2025, but for now TT is 5 star and #1 with me.
