All great except for carryover info from VA state 2023 taxes (e.g, VA 529 carryover) did not come up and had to put in manually.

It was better last year, easier. Automatic transer

I don't like that previous year return can't be transferred over if it was done n a different computer/device. Having to start from scratch is not ideal. Also, when printing the final return this year, there were no choice beyond printing the ENTIRE 258 page return. in 2023 I had the choice of printing only he version that IRS would get, or the one without worksheets. Otherwise it's okay I guess and I'll stick with it.
...But.. after going thru an update needed in order to successfully E-file with Federal, what happened to my State return? It got interrupted I guess and now I need to find where I left off with printing and filing ??

TurboTax user for many years. This may be my last.

I have used TurboTax for many years, and this was the worst, bug-filed experience ever. The app hung repeatedly upon installing upgrades. The new combined screen for importing dividends, interest, and stock sales is confusing, and full of bugs. My call to Intuit support to resolve one such bug resulted in wasting an hour with an incompetent phone rep, only to be told that I had switch to forms view and manually edit the forms. I will be seriously shopping for a different solution next year.

Really a 5 star, but the program kept bugging me about my state income tax forms. I live in Washington State and we do not have an income tax! so why bug us about a state income tax form????????

The tax software is ok; the search for help is useless. Type in key words and suggestions come up not even closely related to the search words. I had to google the questions I had to get any good information.
