Turbo Tax is forcing me to ignore IRS Directions

This program is fine if you are a generic filer. If you have more complicated issues, then this program is not good - even the premium version which I have. To use the program for filing I need to NOT FOLLOW IRS directions and have to use a workaround. The Foreign Tax credit does not follow IRS Guidelines for reporting which countries and which 1099's are matched up. Looking at comments and questions in TTax site shows this is an old problem that the company apparently has chosen to ignore. They have no solution.

Turbo tax removes the stress

Turbo Tax with its import feature was easy to use. I had one question in the review process which I didn't understand and Anthony was able to clear up that problem.

Issues with importing

I did not like the change to the way you import information from a financial institution. If they added information and you had to import from the same institution again, you had to import all of it and you lost the original information you entered. This caused me to have to amend my return because I didn't get all of the information in.
