TurboTax, making things challenging for years now.

Not keeping up with the times. The inability to cut and paste passwords for importing documents from other sites is not acceptable. I'll be moving to different software next year if this is not corrected. Most aware people are using password managers with 16+ character unique passwords for every site. With multiple banks, investment accounts, etc., manually typing them in is ridiculous and prone to keylogging. The rest of the experience is fine. Nothing great but nothing has really changed.

Nice but awkward

When I finally got to the call me option the help was fantastic. But figuring out how to get help was confusing as the text answers were not helpful in my case. Also it is hard to back up a number of pages on the state forms to check what you entered. You have to hit "back" and then redo everything to move forward again.

It was more difficult to enter 1099 INT, 1099 DIV and other 1099 items with this 2024 Turbos Tax than previous versions.

Turbo Tax Ease of Use

Very easy to work with program. A bit frustrating when it went to pull in investment information as it required a verification (you are not a robot) at least 10-12 times for each file. I understand the need for security, but it was a bit much after a while.

Issues with printing.

Love the guided questions/etc. Always makes things less intimidating. However, there's clearly bugs in printing modules where it won't let me print returns because it thinks I had not state filed when I have e-filed state and it even confirms that. Getting help with an obvious bug is difficult/disappointing and not being able to print for records is incredibly flustering.
