Ive used Turbo Tax over the past 10+ years and found is very helpful. I seems like every year the product is upselling more unnecessary services or hides additional costs until E-filling. Its' tarnishing an otherwise solid experience with your product. We are required to provide a 6 digit id pin supplied by the IRS in order to file our taxes. I found no screen to enter this information prior to filing. I even went to the 1040 form and tried to enter and it would not allow an edit. So I filed, it will be rejected and then given an opportunity to enter (like past years). Poor design. I probably continue to use Turbo Tax but this is getting tiredsome.

I felt that the TurboTax software was easy enough to use. However, I had difficulty with e-filing my taxes this year. I did my father's taxes for him as he is 97 and unable to do these things himself. I downloaded as much of his paperwork as I could. His 1099-INT and 1099-DIV were downloaded from Edward Jones. Everything was in the proper format, but the software didn't recognize that and therefore would not allow me to e-file. I had to mail in his return.

The only problem I have is that I do my son's taxes for him also on Turbotax and TT only saves the files in the name of our surname and first initial. His surname and first initial are the same a my husband's so , when I try to retrieve last year's forms, I cannot tell the difference. Please allow more identifying info in the titles of the returns such as the whole name or several initials.

This was the most infuriating, time-consuming, and overall miserable experience I ever had the displeasure of doing. Your software error, of an automatically generating form, was infuriating.
