Mac version of Turbotax is an inferior product

I have been using the PC version of TurboTax for at least 10 years. This year I used the Mac version, and it is an inferior product compared to the PC version (but of course the same price). The interface is buggy. It hangs frequently and requires a restart. The feature set is reduced compared to PC. Because I've now switched to Mac at home, I may need to ditch TurboTax and go to a tax professional next year.

We LOVE TurboTax - it makes tax time easy!

We have used TurboTax for several years now because it makes doing our taxes really easy. It takes much less time than gathering all of our paperwork and taking it to someone else to do them. And, our refund is always great!

Turbo Tax problems

I have been using it for years, but this year there were several changes that were not helpful and some software problems that may still not be resolved making it necessary to upload last years taxes by changing the extension to .tax2023, and then I was not confident the correct information was transmitted making it much longer to complete the returns. Also the option to print or efile Federal and State taxes at the beginning of the filing section was omitted, again making the job more difficult. All in all I may change to one of the other software options next year.

Professional and Friendly Help

I had three problems come up while preparing my taxes and all three problems were fixed by a professional using the at a glance screen viewer. I would recommend TurboTax to anyone who feels a little nervous about fining their own taxes. You are not alone with Turbotax just a phone call away.

TurboTax does SUPER Job

I've used TurboTax for 20+ years with Audit Defense and in my retirement enjoy the challenge of filling out the forms myself. I really like the TurboTax feature that allows you to look at the forms or do step by step and saves a few dollars which are always useful in retirement turn it.
