Very good product

Very good product. My biggest complaint is year after year the step needed to apply state tax refund to the following year (instead of taking the refund $) is extremely hard to decipher how to do it and very non-intuitive. Should have been fixed years ago!!!

Long time customer. Used to be more intuitive, and less confusing. Still OK but I think the software is showing it’s age. Needs an AI overhaul to bring it up to speed. . EG took 10 minutes just to download and get signed on- with a myriad of authentications. . Still works and is accurate plus you only have to deal with it once a year.

Taxes Made So Much Easier!

I trust TurboTax for probably 10 years now, through dealing with rental property, new marriage, 4 house purchases, and more of life's events. All my concerns were addressed as I entered my data. Love it!

Some explanations are lacking in TurboTax and help from TurboTax's professionals is therefore needed. Other than that, Turbo Tax makes it possible to prepare more complicated returns without the help of an accountant.

Worse than last year, especially for mailing state

Seems more difficult to navigate than years past. Several forms do not allow correct information to be input and must be manually done by selecting the form in question later. Also, some menus require input when none is necessary.
If you want to e-file fed and mail the state to save the $25 fee, Turbo tax has made that unnecessarily difficult because the default selection you get after you have already selected e-file federal and mail state is to e-file both federal and state. You can select "e-file at a later time" but you can not select to mail the forms and you do not get the option to print the forms needed for the state filing. The basically want to coerces you into e-filing for the state whether you want to or not and even when you have already expressly said you do not want to. Shame!
