Overall good product but GA State return issues...

State tax filing is more aggravating than last year when working out of state and living in FL. Confusing instructions on info brought over from Federal return to the GA state return, when my wife and I both live in FL and she is retired

I was generally satisfied with TurboTax. I was disappointed because I could not get a disk copy of the program. The tax effort is always time intense for my " simple" response.

Turbo Tax - My confidence builder

Another year of taxes submitted and behind me. I'm and Engineer thus math and detail oriented. I have used Turbo Tax for several years and each year I get more comfortable with it. Each year my first time through the program is always the hardest as I reread many of the descriptions etc. But the more I use the program, the more confident I feel and by the time I get to the end, I'm sure I have answered all the questions and entered all the information correctly and I'm sure the software has correctly prepared the returns.

TurboTax is disappointing

After the initial install I did some of my taxes and paused. When I returned to complete them there were updates. The updates failed to install seven of seven times. I spent significant time on hold and after an eighth attempted install, had to delete the entire application and re-install.
Turbo tax can not support case sensitive file systems and does not work if you try to run it from a file system that is case sensitive (case sensitive means that a file named return.tax2024 is not the same as a file named RETURN.TAX2024; case matters). This forces one to try and install Turbo tax on a special drive that is case insensitive, however, Turbo Tax does can not handle installation in anything but its desired location in /Applications.
After years of frustration I think I will just find a tax consultant to do my taxes.
