Be more upfront with costs

Frustrating - takes longer than it use to.

Last year for the first time I needed accounting help to file return due to Master Limited Partnership issues so I don't know if the process this year just changed or if it is basically the same as last year. So my observation is based on my 20 year experience with TurboTax. This years filing is much more involved than it use to be. Takes more time which is exasperating. Need to streamline the process.

Overall a Good Product, but Room for Improvement

Generally good product, but there are a few areas for improvement. The charitable deductions dashboard is extremely cumbersome. I've used other projects that requested total charitable miles driven, or maybe charitable miles by organization. Turbo Tax requests miles per trip! This is a cumbersome time waster......I volunteer with a couple non-profits, so am I supposed to enter every 5 mile trip to the bank? Additionally, if I drive, stay in a hotel, and have a meal while serving the non-profit, I enter the miles separately from the other trip expenses, but then Turbo Tax adds them together into a single line. So..... most cumbersome way to enter the data, and most difficult to verify to my spreadsheets.
Also, this year, I often had to try to press the icon twice to get it to open. Once I was in and working on my taxes, if I wanted to look at a tax form, I couldn't find a way back to my return without closing it out and re-opening it.

TurboTax is the way to go.

Using TurboTax was pretty easy. There were a few things that took a little time to figure out.
When I first tried to e-file it wouldn't accept them. I had to do an update to my Mac and then I had to look for the update for TurboTax. After I completed those tasks, I was able to e-file with no problem.
I will use TurboTax again next year.

Great product but room for imprvement

Love the walk throughs. Wish of it to be a little more laymen/plain English. Some things are not completely self explanatory.
