Turbo Tax needs some attention
on March 20, 2025

The program needs attention regarding the entire process and what is required surrounding form 8453 and form 8949. Also, I was under the assumption my package included one free state e-filing, guess not. The process of completing the state e-filing charge was not clear, i.e. why I was being redirected, where I was being redirected to and what was the charge before entering my credit card information (the notification or statements emphasized dipping into a refund to pay for fees rather than explaining how much and what for.) .

Not a robot proof process of matching images is torturous beyond any I have experienced form same processes at other sites. I was required to repeat it over ten times and over about 10 or more minutes before it finaly accepted my login. This is far from acceptable.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Spent over 2 hours with your help. Could not get my problem fixed. Several people involved. Third person Rick fixed my problem, very simple for him to fix in 10-15 minutes. It was wonderful for me to get someone to handle and fix my problem. Thank you Rick.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

- The way to enter interest and dividends has changed in 2024 version of TurboTax, which is not really convenient. Please change it back to the way it was. - There are frequent updates, please provide a list of what changes each of these updates involve.

I have been using it for quite a few years and it is easy to do. I get good guidance and the feature I like the most is that I can import my 1099 R files from the institutions so I don't have to key in a bunch of numbers.

!) TurboTax should not ask RMD questions on 1099-R that are a defined pension plan that is paid out as an annuity 2) TT needs to accept a "/" in a valid USPS address for billing. Such as a fractional street in WI (2 1/2 st)
