Smooth. Handles my filing, even multi-state income for my kid going to college out-of-state.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I did not like the changes in TT this year. I have used TT for many years and am more comfortable with the prior versions. If next year is the same as this tear I will probably change vendors

I have been using Turbo Tax for years. It walks me through the steps and reminds me of all the information I need to provide.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Everything is fine except the capital gains downloads that require review and fixing due to problems identifying short vs. long-term gains.

Problematical Shortcomings

We have generally had very good experiences over the years with Turbo-tax. However, this year with both of us reaching age 73, we need to deal with Required Minimum distribution. Unfortunately, the directions for its applications are unclear with respect to income from defined benefit plans where annuities have been established. Also, under Refund, the printed copy shows all Xs in the routing number and account number of our bank and there does not appear any means to access that page of the return to enter the proper numbers.
