It is great once I downloaded the appropriate version. When I first downloaded Turbotax you automaticallly put me into the online version and I didn't realize it until I was aways into entering data. THIS IS MISLEADING. I have tried the online version in the past and CANNOT STAND IT, so don't do this to me again!!

Thorough but friendly tax software!

TurboTax is my tax filing software of choice. I use it every year to file electronically. It's thorough, but friendly. Keep up the good work, Intuit!

Previous years were better. This year was klunky.

Much more frustrating than past years. Most problems occurred with downloading of forms from investment house. Forms that were downloaded and confirmed, either did not show up in the income summary or they overwrote one another. Ended up having to enter information manually.
Also, organization of entry was confusing. For example, in deductions, early screens get you to list your charities but then moves on to other topics. It’s not until much later that it comes back to entry of charity amounts. On some entry screens, there was no "back" button.

Imprting Prcss Has Flaw-Deletes Prvsly Imprtd Data

Process of importing data has a flaw. It deletes previously imported data for an account if that account isn't selected in a subsequent importing from the same institution. In my case it was from the Fidelity.
