Cannot submit electronically since old investment bonds show from brokers as zero basis and you have to enter basis as override, thus make it impossible to file electronically. Bonds have 20 to 50 year duration and old accounts have stocks held for decades before brokerages were required to track basis. this will not self eliminate fore decades if ever for long holdings

Its adequate

Imports of documents from brokerage accounts had way to many questions in the tax review. Spent more time printing all the docs out and looking for needed data than on tax return. Additionally I used the only version last year and its way t difficult to get to the information. Went back to the upload and when it brought in data from 2023 it was not correct. Also can duplicate uploads from brokerage houses, you would think the software would know it has the same information twice or would at least check for that

Tubo Tax is All You Need

Although I am a regular Turbo Tax user, this year was different due to 1099Rs. I was concerned about proper reporting of these distributions because of penalties if done wrong. I called in more than once with various questions and completed my returns with complete confidence and a better refund
