Y2024 Turbotax software is worse than it was last year. Y2023 software is worse than Y2022. Not a good tendency.

TurboTax makes it easy! Love that I can import most of my interest and dividend income (no chance of an input error on my part). The page comparing current to last FY helps route out items I may have missed. The check at the end has found minor errors for me more than once. I love that I can file taxes myself with a high level of confidence that they are accurate.

I have used turbo tax for years. I was extremely frustrated this year, as it never went to schedule d & when I manually entered the information, it kept telling me to cancel the override, so I was forced ultimately to do s & lost out on the carryover loss. there is no excuse for this, especially in the premier version.

Software could have been better.

I normally give 5 stars. I have been using Turbo Tax for at least 20 years, but this year the initial installaion took several hours and updates did not install easily.
