They make it almost impossible to print and file state return. I felt forced to file electronically. Will not be using Turbo Tax in the future. Scam.

Mostly a smooth experience

Mostly everything was good. I had some problems however because last year I used TurboTax online and this year I purchased and downloaded a copy of the software (it was cheaper to do this). Every time I got into TurboTax it assumed that I wanted to use the online version and not the downloaded version. It was kind of hard to find how to use the downloaded version, but in the end I worked it out.

Free Filing for State Income Tax

I like Turbo Tax; however, I think that if a tax return is eligible for free filing with the State tax, then Turbo Tax should not charge a fee for filing that state tax return.
