Turbo Tax Makes it Easy

Of course I wouldn't do my taxes without TurboTax. I've been using it for decades.
This year, I had a little difficulty with the 1099 imports.
Seems the feature added new records versus overwriting/updating last year's for the same institutions and accounts. I had to figure out which ones to delete and which ones to keep. Could be that I didn't follow instructions correctly in the beginning???

Hidden costs not revealed until e-filing

i've been using Turbotax since the 1980s with great success, confidence, and admiration...I have to remove my overall admiration score for the sneaky extortion of the last-minute $40 "preparation fee" - after 3 months of working on my return and purchasing Audit Defense...shame on Intuit for partnering with Green Dot who are afraid to tell us taxpayers in advance that they will rip us off for $40 more dollars...not well played, Intuit

I hate that Turbo Tax no longer offers this software without a disk. I purchased it I should be able to have it. not just in the cloud or someplace on my PC that might be replaced this year but then I will no longer have the software. its a rip off

I really hate the fact that I can only get the digital format!! You pay more and I don;t have the physical disc to go back..

Fine overall. But previous year's tax data did not transfer automatically and I could not discover what happened or why TT did not operate as in previous years.

I like the software. It give easy step by step instructions. I like the upload of investment documents. Saves time. I would like a summary of tax changes that affect me - if that is possible.
