Please auto-fill forms like credit card that are asking for same information and allow to pay grand-total rather than multiple times.

Turbo Tax Review

Overall, good product and easy to use. One area that continues to be an issue is with downloading investment 1099 information. The auto import feature does not always work, even for major companies. This time, I couldn't get ETrade to work while 1099 forms from other major investment companies worked fine. Every year this feature is inconsistent in working correctly.

Confusing user interface for downloading tax info

Downloading tax info from financial institutions was confusing. Although I've been an enthusiastic TurboTax user for many years, it took me several hours to get it right. The 2024 edition was disappointing.

Email with More Expensive Version!

I am deducting stars because TurboTax emailed me a more expensive version. I have always used Premier - and I didn't notice that TurboTax emailed me a more expensive online version until I had spent a few hours of work. As a result, my taxes took much longer this year which I didn't appreciate.

TurboTax 2024

The new screens for entering investment income (interest, dividends, capital gains distributions, capital gains and losses, etc.) was more confusing this year. I finally figured out how to get that done, but it was more confusing and took more time.
Way too much verbiage and legalese on the Terms & Conditions document.
Otherwise, everything else was fine and straightforward, similar to recent previous years.
