UNHAPPY AND CONFUSED

EVERY YEAR TURBO TAX IS GETTING MORE DIFFICULT TO USE DUE TO THE TERMINOLOGY THAT IS USED IS NOT GEARED TO A NORMAL PERSON DOING THEIR OWN TAXES. NEXT YEAR WE WILL HIRE AN ACCOUNTANT AND WILL NO LONGER USE TURBO TAX.

Turbo Tax does it again

I love using Turbo Tax. I can get my information imported from my banks and financial investment company or I can do it manually myself if I want. When the final return is done I can see how the worksheets were done and understand it much better

The desktop version of turbotax is far inferior to the web based version. Avoid it at all costs.

dependable tool with a few suggested improvements

generally easy to use but would like the following improvements:
1. import the RSU supplemental stock information. It took many hours to manually enter and check for mistakes. 2. if 1 is not possible, make the input page easier to use such as grid edit (i.e. spreadsheet format) for all the rows instead of clicking into individual rows.

TurboTax works well enough not to switch to other program, but some of the support agents are pretty clueless.

Easy to file Federal and State tax

It was easy to file Federal and State tax as the income was scanned from W2 and the prompts to enter income/expense were straightforward. I did not have any trouble to read and act accordingly.
