Watch out for Treasury money markets being taxed

Interest from a government federal money market at Fidelity most is state tax free as securities underlying in the fund are all treasuries etc. Turbo tax asked if it was all federal I responded yes. then [proceeded to feed it into the state return. I did not catch it and paid tax on the interest to the state- grrrr. My fault, but I expect more accuracy from Turbo tax.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

very bad software on Mac

Mac software is very bad. Did not scan information only name and address but no other inputs. When pulling information from Ally every time got 0 as interest. It happened to 3 account. When we took picture and submitted W2 when it worked it added twice when filing jointly under both filers name. Also Try to give free filing from desktop/Mac software just like website if they quality as student.

confusing

Turbo Tax showed tow of my w'2 and 1099 on different lines on the tax return from prior years. It was confusing and took me 1 1/2 hours to ensure my income was totally included. A bit confusing and I'm not convinced the earnings were on the correct lines but total income reported is correct and I don't think the total tax is incorrect.

Great Turbo Tax Advisor, Semaya, was knowledgeable, patient, professional and best of all stayed on the phone til my problem was solved. I was so relieved to speak with Semaya, an actual human being, in a relatively short amount of wait time on the phone. She was awesome!

I called TurboTax Help last year about a "Review" feature that incorrectly flags our residency dates (from 01/01/2024-12/31/2024) as an error (overlapping dates exceed 366 days). This is not an error. We live and work in separate states. I hoped the bug would have been corrected this year, but it wasn't. If nothing else, the Review flag should allow for an override to explain why the dates are correct.
In addition, a bug exists in the 1099-B data entry screen. The "Learn more" link contains entries not in the "How did you acquire this asset" pull-down.
I also inadvertently deleted a rental property asset and felt the best way to recover was to create a new Tax Return from scratch. It would have been nice if I could have run two instances of TurboTax, which would have allowed me to compare the two Returns side-by-side and then copy/paste from one into the other (as opposed to entering data a second time).
