Great experience but needs work with crypto

TurboTax npc doubt made filing my taxes quick and easy. Though, I was expecting the flow of the software and navigation of it to be smoother. I felt it was a bit clunky. Furthermore, TurboTax software engineers need to put in a lot of work for filing cryptocurrency. Filing for crypto was difficult, confusing, and clunky. This process needs to be much more detailed and straight-forward.

not impressed with software internal help

I rated Turbo Tax a 3 out of 5 because the help available was inadequate to explain what was need in various sections UNLESS YOU PAID for the Expert Help. The individual that helped me was excellent! She was courteous, professional and knowledgeable.

Good, except for the problem described

I had a bit of a problem getting into TurboTax from my Intuit account and found I was working on a return that wasn't paid for (I had bought the Premier version). So, I went back and restarted getting the paid for version. When I came to downloading tax info from my financial accounts, Turbo Tax let me do the first one, but none after that with a message that I had 2 Turbo Tax programs open so they couldn't be downloaded (WHY?, it did the first). I tried every way I could to close out the unpaid for program without success - and finally gave up and entered the data by hand, adding considerable time to the process.
I think you need to make the process of getting into the program more straightforward to avoid the problem I just described.

Not so good for state returns

Federal return was fine. For the CT state return the software was not so helpful other than prefilling forms from the Federal return information. If I had a more complex return, I would be forced to hire an accountant.
